Dr. Jason Horgesheimer, DDS

Dr. Jason and his wife, Kristi, are the proud parents of four wonderful children. They have thoroughly enjoyed raising their three daughters and one son in Davis County, and have happily embraced their two sons-in-law into the family. In June of 2019, Dr. Jason and Kristi were overjoyed to become grandparents when they welcomed their first grandson into the world!

Dr. Jason is a Board-Certified Pediatric Dentist and was elected, by his peers, as the President of the Utah Academy of Pediatric Dentistry for several years. He loves working with children and providing the top Pediatric Dental care to the families he gets to serve.
Dr. Jason Horgesheimer was raised in Ogden, Utah, with an older brother and three younger sisters. He attended Bonneville High School, where he served as senior class officer, played basketball and football, and rocked an unforgettable 80’s mullet! He went on to study at Brigham Young University, where he met his wife, Kristi, and earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Biology. Dr. Jason then completed his dental education at the University of Iowa before moving on to Primary Children’s Hospital for a two-year residency, specializing in Pediatric Dentistry. Following his specialty training, he continued his work at Primary Children’s as an attending doctor, supervising and training new dental residents.
In 2000, Dr. Jason opened his first practice, Redwood Pediatric Dentistry in Taylorsville, Utah. Over the next two decades, he and his partners expanded, opening additional practices across the Wasatch Front, from Davis County to Tooele County. Alongside his local work, Dr. Jason has been privileged to serve communities globally, traveling almost annually to countries such as Ethiopia, Guatemala, and Mexico. For over a decade, he has provided dental care and humanitarian aid to those in need, combining his passion for dentistry with a commitment to giving back.
When he’s not taking care of kids’ teeth, Dr. Jason can often be found running marathons—he reached his goal of completing 50 full 26.2-mile marathons before the age of 50, along with his first full Ironman! He also enjoys backpacking and fishing in the Wind River Mountain Range, or spending time with his family boating at Bear Lake, where they can soak up the sun, enjoy the water, and sip on raspberry shakes. Dr. Jason and his wife recently embarked on a new adventure, as he served as Mission President for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Columbus, Ohio, from July 2020 to 2023. Now back in practice, Dr. Jason is excited to reconnect with your families and continue providing care!
